Street Style Trends

Not that long ago, I did a post on all the summer/fall trends, which you could see on the catwalk. See the post here. This time I did one very similar, but with a few of the street style trends instead.

Street style is definitely one of the things I love most about fashion, and at the moment, street style is really all about shoes. Crazy shoes, colourful shoes, animal print shoes. All in all, shoes are just a good way to give an otherwise boring outfit some flare. Over-the-knee boots is one way to turn a boring outfit into something really cool. They can make any outfit seem 100% more chick, and they make your legs look miles long, which is always a good think. At the moment Stewart Weitzman is the absolute king of these boots, but I can only imagine all the high street stores such as Zara, Topshop, H&M ect. will be getting on board this trend and offer us some more affordable over-the-knee options. If we stay with the shoes, a cute pair of lace-up flats or a good pair of oxfords is always a good way to amp up you street style game as well. I have promised myself to stay away from the everyday-sneakers habit I’ve created. Not that sneakers isn’t great as everyday shoes, cause they really are.

Going away from the shoes we have jeans. Jeans can literally be the worst thing to shop for since there’s so many things to consider, waist, length and so on. But when you do find the right pair, it’s like heaven on earth. At the moment mom jeans, moto detailing, ripped knees, frayed ankles, zippers and gray wash is really in, in the jean world.

Find a couple of examples, of the different street style trends here under.
