A LAZY PERSON’S GUIDE TO STAY IN SHAPE DURING WINTER

Staying in shape is paramount, not just because it’s nice to look good, but because it’s extremely important to always be the healthiest version of yourself. This includes maintaining both your mental and physical health. However, staying in shape truly can be one of the most tedious things ever, especially during the winter when it’s cold outside and all you want to do is watch movies and drink hot cocoa.
To make it a bit easier, I have here made a collection of a few easy ways to stay in shape during winter, that even the most lazy person in the world would be able to keep up with.

 ALWAYS take the stairs 

Skip the elevator or escalator and go for the good old-fashioned stairs. I know this might seem cumbersome, but ultimately it’s such an easy and low-effort way to stay in shape. 

Try to drink at least 2L of water a day 

I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but here you get it again. Staying hydrated is good for your health, sleeping rutine, digestion, even your skin and hair. So drink, drink, drink.

eat the healthy thing first 

When you eat a meal begin by eating the healthy parts first. This way you may get full half way through and simply skip the unhealthy bits, or at least you are sure you won’t be tempted to skip the healthy bits. Such an easy and manageable trick to improve your eating habits. 

work out in the begnning of the week

By working out in the beginning of the week you set the mindset for the rest of the week. 

Walk everywhere 

Walking is such an easy way to get a little exercise in here and there without having to ever set food in a gym. Even if your job/study etc. are too far away for you to walk there, just get of the bus or train a stop or two early and walk the rest of the way. Remember that the small effort’s counts as well.

Sleep at least 7-8 hours a day

Again, I’m sure we have all heard this before, but here it is agin just for the sake of it.

An easy and basically zero effort activity that will help you stay healthy during the dark winter months.
