Denim on denim
Denim is and will always be a great go-to fabric for any casual occasion. The beloved fabric can easily be paired with any item, colour or other fabric, even pairing denim with denim seems to just always work. For a couple of years the denim on denim look was been cast of amongst the world-fashionistas, but last winter it came back stronger than ever, and who can be surprised? Not only is the denim on denim a super cool, stylish and comfortable look, but it is also extremely 70’s, and everybody knows that the 70’s are definitely back in style.
The thing to remember when you are styling a denim on denim look is to always make sure that your two denim pieces are contrasting. I have said it before, I know, but now you are getting it one more time. Denim is just best when the two or even three pieces you are wearing contrast a bit in tone and shade.
In these pictures it might be a bit difficult to see, but no the shirt and jeans I am wearing are NOT the complete same tone of blue. They, as I just said, are contrasting!

The heels I am wearing in these pictures are vintage and bought used a loooong time ago. I found the heels when I was 15, and haven’t looked at them much since, however when I was cleaning out my wardrobe during the fall break I re-discovered them, and I of course fell head over heels for them once again. It is just an added bonus that they are seriously in style at the moment.
